To students, the weight of huge text books has always been an issue. With a four tests to study for, a student would have to carry around four kilograms of massive textbooks home to study for. A solution to such a problem had once been introduced which was using the system of pdf files on the computer. However, this was not so successful because the computer screen tired students' eyes and it was better off reading the textbooks than reading the pdf files on their computer.
Recently, scientists in the computer engineering field has come up with a new gadget to solve the problem of weights and harm to the eyes. This new gadget it called Kindle DX. This gadget resembles the Ipad, which is the new Apple gadget introduced to the world just a few weeks ago. However, the Kindle DX is thinner and wider and it is black and white.
The Kindle DX sounds like an outdated and old gadget because of its "black and white"ness. However, the Kindle DX should not be underestimated. The black and white aspect of this machine was to serves the purpose of preserving the eyes, for the bright LED screens would not allow for students to look at the Kindle DX for a long time. Further more, the Kindle DX allows students to store all of their text books into this one machine.
This new gadget is not only lighter, but it is also allows students to save money from having to purchase expensive textbooks.
